While you're enjoying your gorgeous new candle, consider these care tips.



Soy burns more slowly than paraffin meaning your candle will last 50% longer. Soy candles are made from soybeans and is a green alternative and healthier for humans, pets, and the environment and cleans up with just soap and water.

Here are the care tips for your soy candle.

  • When you first light your candle, burn at least 2 hours for a nice even heat pool. Failure to do may result in tunneling and will affect the life of your candle. After that burn no longer than 4 hours. 
  • Burn on a heat resistant surface and allow it cool before touching the candle vessel.
  • NEVER leave a lighted candle unattended.
  • Next, be sure to regularly trim your wick to 1/4” each time you burn the candle because soy candles use a thicker wick. If you don't trim your wick you risk burning the edges of the vessel, or having too high of a flame. 
  • Lastly, don’t leave your candle in direct sunlight as that will affect the surface.
  • Lastly those who have/had COVID may have an affected sense of smell and you may have a reduced sense of the candles scent.
